Part 2: Message #153

In the previous post, I discussed how I arrived to the conclusion that some messages by Pedro Regis were plagiarized. 

I began to look for other phrases and sentences and discovered that part of message #153 was written by using sentences from the Blue Book. Here is a table of the sentences below :

Beloved sons, remain today with Me beneath the Cross. Good Friday. Today stay with me at the foot of the cross.
 

Thus, for his pain there is scorn; for his falls, contempt; for his wounds, insults; for his immolated body, outrage; for the moans of his agony, blasphemies; for the supreme offering of his life, contempt and rejection.


 Still, the worst pain was when they mocked Him for His falls, the contempt for His wounds, His injuries, His body sacrificed, the outrage for His groans of agony, the blasphemies for the supreme offer of His life. Above all, I felt pain for the contempt and rejection.
 The Heart of my Son is rent by this great abandonment, even before this is done by the lance of the Roman soldier.  

My Son´s Heart is torn to pieces by this immense abandonment, even before it was pierced by the spear of the roman soldier.
 Not here beneath the Cross are those friends and disciples; not here are all those who were helped by Jesus in so many ways.  Here also His friends are not found, those who were so often benefited by Him.
 

But one at least has stayed with Me: little John.

I hear his innocent heart beating; I see his fear, the fear of a bewildered little child;


 Just John was with me, strong and pure, innocent as a child. I could see in his eyes the deepest sorrow when he looked up at the cross, seeing his friend about to die.

A note about plagiarism: When I used to teach college students, many of them believed that plagiarism was only when you copied another text word for word. This is indeed plagiarism, but paraphrasing the sentence of another text, without any citation, is also plagiarism. So is copying the general order of ideas of another text, even if you are paraphrasing it or putting it in your own words, without any citations. 

If these two passages came across my desk, I would, without a doubt, have marked it as plagiarism, even though most of message #153 does not contain word for word copying. 

Curiously, the official English translation, starts with the phrase "Good Friday" which is in the heading of message #197 in the Blue Book, as if it were left over from a copy and paste. Good Friday is also redundantly repeated in the message: 




Message #153 is not the only plagiarized one unfortunately. (Continued in next post)

Part 6: Other oddities

There are other messages with plagiarism, but overall a lot of the messages until 1990 seem to be either copying or paraphrasing the Blue Book.   After 1990 some unique phrases from the BB continue to be used in the Angüera messages, like "Red Dragon", "smoke of Satan", "times worse than the flood" , "times that I have foretold", "your names are written".  Some messages sound like someone giving a quick summary of the Blue Book, which is primarily about the Church undergoing a "Great Tribulation" with the final triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady.  I also noticed other oddities:  8 – Message from Our Lady Queen of Peace, transmitted on 12/5/1987 My dear children. Part 7: Reflection

I really wanted to believe that the messages of Angüera were true, but sadly I cannot. It has taken me several days to process it. I know there are many who will still believe, and that doesn't make them bad people. But we shouldn't be surprised. In Revelations, we are told that there will be false prophets.  Satan is the Great Deceiver, and I believe he traps more people by confusion rather than outright evil. Now doubt has entered some of our hearts and has shaken us.  I actually hesitated releasing these findings, because I was afraid that it would cause a loss of faith for some people, and I didn't want to be responsible for that, but I knew in my heart I had to share what I know.  He is also very good at toying with our emotions, especially pride.
